I met with Marilyn and Joel in downtown Orlando for some pre-wedding photos. They opted for an intimate courthouse wedding rather than the big to-do, but they still wanted some fun and sweet photos before they tied the knot. One of my favorite parts of meeting with couples is learning how they met, how they got engaged, and everything else about them as a couple. This is the quick version of what I found out about Marilyn and Joel:
Marilyn & Joel grew up together in the Virgin Islands. They were good friends, but she never quite gave him the time of day. After being friends for a while, they started dating and have been extremely happy since. It is so crystal clear that these two were meant to be together. They seem to have endless amount of smiles around each other, and she definitely puts up with his goofiness! That is the recipe to a great marriage if you ask me!
These two really worked the camera in their session. I barely had to tell them anything other than where to stand. Joel brought out all of his model-moves and Marilyn went along with his antics. It was perfect!
