Haley & Tyler: Engaged!

Haley and Tyler are just a cute, cute, CUTE couple. They met when her mom hired a company (Tyler's family) to do some construction work on the house, and for some reason I think that is a great "how we met" story!

I met with them this morning at Oakland Nature Preserve. Other than the mosquitoes and the occasional walks through spider webs, it was a perfect session! They go hunting together, so they wanted to incorporate that aspect of their lives into their session by wearing camo. I thought it was a really cute and unique idea and I love how the photos turned out.

Kelleigh & Karl: Engaged!

Kelleigh & Karl are one of the sweetest couples we have ever met! They decided they wanted their engagement session on a beach, but they also wanted some other options nearby for a different look. Her hair dresser found this incredible location at Flagler Beach, and we were so pumped for this session! She explained that there were going to be large rocks, so I already had a few images in my head of some shots I wanted. I could only hope that the rocks she explained were really what I had pictured, and I was beyond excited to see that they were! When Craig and I got there, I told him that I really wished there were more clouds. About 30 minutes later, the most beautiful clouds showed up to put the final touches on the photos I had hoped for.

We had such a great time with these two. They were willing to do anything, and we just LOVE that! At the end of the session, she even gave us a box of cookies that she made for us. They were delicious!!! :) Thanks so much Kelleigh and Karl. We wish we could be there to photograph your wedding at Sandals next year! :)

Allison & Pete Are Engaged!

I met Allison and Pete freshmen year of college in the dorms at UCF. The whole floor was new and everyone was getting to know each other...but I am sure that neither of them expected to find their soul mate in their dorms. From the beginning of their friendship, our entire floor was just impatiently waiting for them to realize that they were going to end up together. We all knew it, but it took them a while to figure it out! They were such good friends (and SO cute together), and I can't even explain how happy I was when I found out they were finally dating. Then when I found out they were ENGAGED...holy cow was I excited!

Being able to photograph Allison and Pete's engagement was really special, especially since it was at good ol' UCF! I adore going on campus. It just brings back so many great memories of the amazing friends I gained and also the countless hours I spent studying. It still blows my mind that I spent 6 years studying hard core for my Micro and Molecular Biology degree, and I ended up falling in love with photography afterwards. It just goes to show that you never know what life will throw your way!

Jessica & Ray Tie the Knot!

This Cocoa Beach, FL wedding was my cup of tea! I love weddings where the couple puts their personal touch everywhere. It shows me that they truly enjoyed the process and wanted to make sure their wedding was one-of-a-kind. Ray and Jessica's wedding was just that; a truly special, one-of-a-kind, amazing wedding. I have to admit that I don't think I have ever seen a family bonded so strongly like theirs. Watching the connection Jessica and her father have was so heart warming...I really couldn't get enough of it! Throughout the evening, the love from both families just poured out and everyone had such an incredible time. The weather was phenomenal, the couple was beautiful, and well..I just love the photos we were able to capture!

And in case you didn't notice the GORGEOUS shell bouquet, that was hand-made by one of Jessica's close friends and incorporated her something blue (ribbon) as well as lace from Jessica's mother's wedding dress. It was unbelievable!

Gus and Toni's Mini Session

Let me start this post by saying that Gus and Toni are getting married THIS WEEKEND! We cannot wait for their big day!

I met with the three of them (third being their dog, Chucky) at Kraft Azalea Gardens in Winter Park last week for their mini session. We had just enough time to catch some beautiful light from the sunset. In fact, one of the reasons that I love Kraft Azalea Gardens is because of the amazing sunset view! I first photographed there a month or so ago, and I am now officially addicted to it. :)
