Laura & Todd: Married! | Orlando Wedding Photographer

Laura and Todd contacted us last year about photographing their wedding. We were in North Carolina at the time visiting family and taking a mini-vacation, and I remember that's when she decided to book us. I knew that I wouldn't be able to meet them until the day of the wedding, but there was something about her that I really liked. Over the months, we touched base here and there, but I completely forgot the reason that we weren't able to meet; they live in Italy! Todd was stationed overseas and she was teaching, and that is how they met.

They actually got married late last year in the courthouse, so this was technically a vow renewal. It was one of the prettiest vow renewals I've ever seen! Everything was so intimate about it; from the small number of guests to the romantic setting at The Duncan House. If you are looking for a rustic venue, this is an amazing place to check out!

Even being (very) far away from her venue did not stop Laura from putting in some of the most beautiful touches into her wedding. From her DIY broach bouquet, to the hand-made vintage hat, to the adorable decorations...they really pulled off something special.

There was only one "down side" to the day; the weather. I put that in quotes because in the end, we could some really great shots using what mother nature gave us to work with! I have to say that one of my favorite things about Laura & Todd is that regardless of the weather conditions, they NEVER stopped smiling. I just want to be around people like them 24-7. They are beautiful together and we couldn't be happier for them! Maybe we'll be able to see them when we take a trip to Italy in July. ;)

Enjoy your sneak peek!

Love the one of the guys getting ready here. Thanks Missy!
Such a classic bride <3
One way to do a "first look" without the groom actually seeing the bride beforehand. :) Great idea, Missy!
Man oh man...I absolutely love this venue!
This is what we were looking at during the ceremony. So beautiful, but we were soooo nervous for our photo time!
One of the benefits to having a small wedding is that you can get EVERYONE in one photo. :)
You just can't go wrong with stairs! <3
Great photos of the guys, Missy!

The rain calmed down a bit, so we ran between the raindrops to get a few more....
Then the rain REALLY came down on us!
I love this one! Feisty bride!
The rain eventually stopped, the humidity went away, and everyone went out of the tent to enjoy the crisp, cool air. <3
