Casey & Gregory: Engaged! | Orlando Wedding Photographer

The weather in Central Florida the past two weeks has been absolutely insane! Between tornado warnings, hurricane-like storms, and absolutely NO sunshine, quite a few of my sessions had to be rescheduled. I have to say though that I'm so happy it turned out that way, because the weather last night for Casey & Gregory's session was spectacular! There was literally not a cloud in the sky, and towards the end of the session we even had a nice breeze coming through. Good ol' Florida...it really likes to mess with your head in the summertime.

Casey and Gregory met at UCF (hence the session being there -- Go Knights!) through their sorority & fraternity. She was in Pi Beta Phi and he was in Sigma Chi. They even showed me the little trail she used to take to sneak to his house in the middle of the night! It was really great being back on campus and seeing how much UCF has grown since the last time I was there (which really wasn't that long ago! UCF: Under Construction Forever). :)

Enjoy your sneak peek! <3

Sarah & Jamie: Engaged! | Orlando Wedding Photographer

Sarah & Jamie were such a blast to photograph last week! As summer would have it, we had to reschedule their session due to the lovely Florida afternoon rain. They were so sweet about it, and it ended up being a great morning for their session on our new day! We met in downtown Orlando by Lake Eola for their engagement session. They recently moved to Florida and found themselves a cozy apartment downtown, so it was only fitting that we did the session there. In fact, one of their photos here (the one with the bird) shows their apartment in the back. :) I love when couples choose meaningful places for their sessions!

Enjoy your sneak peek <3 <3

My favorite!

Harper's Newborn Session | Orlando Portrait Photographer

Erica & David have been amazing clients of mine practically since I began my career in photography. I photographed them when they were pregnant with Austin (2 years ago!!!), when Austin was born, throughout Austin's first year, and a few other sessions here and there. Things were quiet for a while, and along came the news that Erica was expecting a little girl! At their maternity session, they told me they were going to most likely name her Harper, and I was so excited (it's just too cute a name to not get excited about!).

What seemed like a very short time later, along comes this beautiful little munchkin! She reminded me so much of her big brother when he was a newborn (okay, she lacked a few pounds that Austin had as a newborn). It was really amazing walking into their house for their session and seeing photos that I've taken over the years along their walls. It gives a warm, cozy feeling seeing that because it makes me see even more that I really, truly love what I do.

Harper was one of the best babies I have ever photographed. Just like her big brother as a newborn, she slept throughout the entire session! I couldn't believe when I looked at the time and saw that I was in and out of their home within 2 hours. That NEVER happens! So with that, here is sweet little Harper's debut!

We took one just like this of Austin when he was born <3
Eeeep! I love baby skin and the way it wrinkles up! <3
One of my favorites <3

Jennifer & Sean: Married! | Orlando Wedding Photographer

Jennifer & Sean hold a special place in my heart! We all went to high school together, and even though years have gone by (geeze...has it really been 8 years???), I still felt close to them throughout the process of their engagement. I did their engagement photos not too long ago, which was a blast! They are such laid back, loving individuals. Put them together and you have quite an amazing pair. You can see it in the way they look at each other, in the way he makes her smile and the way she makes his heart melt. Their love is so inspiring, and you can really tell how pure it is just from listening to the incredible speeches their friends gave. We were so honored to have been there with them on their big day. To see the A-list vendors who helped make this wedding as phenomenal as it was, see the end of this post. :)

We hope you LOVE your sneak peek! <3
