The Barnard Family | Orlando Family Photographer

I had such a great time photographing the Barnard family. One of our amazing clients referred us to this beautiful family, and I am so thrilled to have met them! We spent a couple of hours taking photos at Kraft Azalea Gardens in Winter Park. The weather was great, the area was pretty much all ours, and the girls were insanely adorable!

Enjoy your sneak peek!

Maddie's 9 Month Session | Orlando Family Photographer

I cannot believe that Maddie is already almost a year old! For her 9 month session, we decided to go to a quaint park in Dr. Phillips. The weather was phenomenal, and Maddie was in such a great mood! She was clapping, smiling, and just being her cute, lovable self.

Maybe for her one year photo session. we can do a cake smash! ;) I think it'll be the perfect way to sum up Maddie's first year of life. <3

Susan & James: Engaged! | Orlando Wedding Photographer

I met with Susan and James at Axum in downtown Winter Garden for our first consultation. We hit it off right away, and I was thrilled when they decided to book us! We decided to have their engagement session in that same spot, and it was perfect! It was a bit chilly, but Susan was a champ and made sure to stick it out for that cute dress she had (I would have done the same thing, Susan!). We started the session by them getting hot cups of coffee, and then continued on by walking around the beautiful downtown area. If you haven't been out there, you really should. There are cute little restaurants, a lot of young families, and an overall vibe that makes you feel so very at home! :)

We can't wait for your wedding next year. You two were made for each other! <3

The one above is one of my favorites...ever! <3

The Ridley Family | Orlando Family Photographer

Erinn, Matt, and their 3 little boys are so much fun to be around! I met with them at the Mennello Museum for their holiday mini-session, and we had a blast! The older boys loved running around and climbing the beautiful branches of the enormous oak tree.

The Guilfoyle Family | Orlando Family Photographer

The Guilfoyle family is another family that I had the pleasure of meeting the day of their mini session. I had a blast photographing this giggly family of 5. They were laughing about 90% of the session, which is one of the many reasons I LOVE being in the photography business! Everyone is generally really happy, surrounded by loved ones and capturing some great memories together.

Enjoy!

The Monninger Family | Orlando Family Photographer

I have had quite a few sessions with the Monninger family since Owen was born, and I was looking forward to seeing them again for their mini session. Owen's only demand during his session was to hold his bag of Pirate's Booty. As long as he had that, he was a happy camper!

Baby Evan: 13 days new | Orlando Newborn Photographer

I first met Erinn, Matt & Cameron back in late 2009 for a family session. I was so excited when she emailed me recently to schedule a newborn session for the birth of her third son! It amazes me how fast time goes by, and I feel like it is more apparent in this business where I am able to see the changes in everyone's lives that I meet. I cannot express enough how much I love it!

I enjoyed photographing sweet little baby Evan so much last week. He was such a good baby, especially when we got outside. I haven't done outdoor newborn photos before, but they have such a beautiful backyard that I just couldn't refuse!

In a couple of weeks I get to see Cameron again (first time since 2009) and I also get to meet their second little boy. I am so excited!

He looks like a little bunny here <3

Audra | Orlando Family Photogarpher

I met Michelle & Kevin at a wedding we were photographing last year. Michelle was pregnant with their first child, and I was thrilled when I was able to do Audra's newborn photos! Almost one year later, here we are getting photos of Audra grown up and adorable as EVER! She just started walking not too long ago (I think less than 2 weeks ago!), so having her sit down in one spot was not happening. She was a happy camper...as long as she was walking around freely. :) She's just an independent little baby, and so unbelievably photogenic. I loved seeing this little family of three again, and I hope to photograph more of Audra as the years go on! <3
I love how ready Michelle was here while Kevin and Audra were being silly. :) |

Maddie's 6 Month Session | Orlando Family Photographer

Jessica and her mom are some of the sweetest women I have ever met! I first met them at Maddie's newborn session, then we met up in Winter Park, FL for her 3 month session, and last week we met for her 6 month photo shoot. Maddie was SO sweet, and sooooo chubby! Chubby babies could quite possibly be one of the cutest things (if not THE cutest) this world has to offer. All I wanted to do throughout the session was hold her and squeeze her, but of course I had to remain professional...at least until the end! :)  We met at Dinky Donk in Winter Park, and Jessica came fully prepared with everything you could possibly need for a beach-like photo shoot! I had such an amazing time with these three, and at the end I was finally able to scoop Maddie up for some hugs. <3 Day. was. made.

Enjoy the sneak peek!

Look at those eyes! <3

Layla Turns One! | Orlando Portrait Photographer

The Harasyn's have been close friends for a long time now, and when Mary asked if I could photograph Layla's one year photos..well, obviously I said yes! Who could resist one of the cutest little babies EVER? Layla is hands down the happiest baby I have ever met. I have only seen her fuss once, and that was at her year session when she wanted to walk around (she won that battle). I love, love, LOVE this baby girl and I cannot wait to see how she changes year after year. She's an amazing little darling with two incredible parents that mean the world to us. <3 We love you guys!

Amy & Steve: Engaged! | Orlando Wedding Photographer

I have generally always had very happy and in love couples, but I think these two may be top contenders for the giddiest couple I've ever photographed. If you've had a session with me, you know I like to get a few "simple" shots in there (mostly because I may have some angry parents coming my way if I don't provide at least a few with the couple looking at the camera). I decided I was going to start with this type of photo, but as soon as I told them to hug and then look at the camera, they both started cracking up. That basically set the mood for the whole session, and there were very few moments that they weren't loving on each other and laughing. Amy and Steve are very athletic, so they brought along some fun ways to incorporate that into their session. Nothing is more personal in an engagement session than bringing things that represent you as a couple!

The first set of photos below is symbolic of how Steve proposed to Amy. Here is the proposal in his words (and yes, it made me cry...so sweet!):
"It wasn’t long before I knew I wanted to marry Amy, and she made sure it wasn’t any longer. It was the night of our friend’s birthday dinner at Columbia Restaurant in Kissimmee. It looked like a great area where I could find a nice little seating area overlooking the water while eating some ice cream and pop the question. So I brought the ring with me to dinner, double checking I had no holes in my pockets. By the end of the night it had nearly burned a hole in my pocket I kept fiddling with it every chance I had to make sure it was still there. After dinner we decided to just head home. I had decided that the area wasn’t as nice as I wanted it…or I was just too nervous. On the way back we had a desire for some ice cream. Off to Publix we went. We agreed to the Chocolate Cookie Quarry enough chocolate to kill a horse but oh so good. Got back to the truck and the light bulb went off! I had a great idea to propose! When we got home Amy was quick to slip in to her PJs, which got me nervous (again) that she wouldn’t want any ice cream. Luckily she did and I still had my clothes on from dinner with the ring still floating in my pocket. I scoop the ice cream into our cups, put the spoon in, and then hang the ring around the spoon so it dangles off the side of the cup. I had a HUGE smile on my face and my hands were shaking like crazy. I had to put my hand around the ring so it wouldn’t jingle on the cup. I give her the cup with the ring facing away (probably a bad idea), and she dives into the ice cream like a champ. As she picks up the spoon to take her first scoop, the ring slams into the gooey chocolate ice cream. She is stunned, speechless. (I get goose bumps just thinking about it) She looks up at me with a great beautiful smile on her face; I reach for the ring; dig it out of the chocolate quarry and ask her to marry me. She can hardly speak and nods her head ‘yes’. The first words to come out of her mouth were, “OK, now go wash it off so I can wear it!”

 <3 <3 I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding! <3 <3
