The Barnard Family | Orlando Family Photographer

I had such a great time photographing the Barnard family. One of our amazing clients referred us to this beautiful family, and I am so thrilled to have met them! We spent a couple of hours taking photos at Kraft Azalea Gardens in Winter Park. The weather was great, the area was pretty much all ours, and the girls were insanely adorable!

Siena & Brett: Rock the Dress | Orlando Wedding Photographer

Siena & Brett got married earlier this month, and 10 days later we met at Kraft Azalea Gardens for their Rock the Dress session. We had such a great time running around the park getting some amazing photos. If you haven't seen their wedding post yet, you'll want to take a look at it here!

Joyce & Marino: Engaged! | Orlando Wedding Photographer

Joyce and Marino are such an amazing couple! Because they do not live in Orlando, we had a phone consultation to talk about their wedding next year. I loved Joyce from the get-go. She has the best personality, and I felt like we really bonded. She is an emergency room doctor, and anytime I talk to someone my age who is a doctor, I feel an immediate connection with them. It brings me back to all of the years of non-stop-studying that I did, and I know that Joyce was exactly the same as me. We are both type-A individuals, and that is probably why we get along so well. 

I met with her and Marino at Kraft Azalea Gardens last week for their early morning engagement session. They were so happy and excited about their photos (there is something to be said about that at 7:30am!), which made me that much more excited to take their photos. We had such a great time running around the park and dodging sprinklers (my poor camera and I got wet, but all was good and VERY fun!). I am so excited to show their sneak peek today, and I cannot wait until their wedding next year at the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate. They are so stunning, and such a beautifully happy couple.

Danielle & Chris: Engaged! | Orlando Wedding Photographer

These two are hands down THE funniest people I have ever met. Ever. I met Danielle and a friend of hers at a bridal show at Heaven Event Center, and I almost fell over laughing at her and her silliness. I can't even remember what she was doing or saying that was so funny, but my goodness does she know how to make people laugh! 

Danielle and Chris won a free engagement session from that show, and I am SO happy they did. I am pretty sure that the first sentence out of Chris' mouth when I met him was a joke. They just don't stop, and I love it!  Their session was non-stop entertainment. Not only because of them being funny, but it was just the most interesting session I've had to date. Apparently there was a wedding going on a Kraft Azalea Gardens that evening, but it was very intimate. VERY intimate. The only people we saw were the couple and a pastor/DJ (pretty sure it was an all-in-one sort of deal). We got out of the way, walked around it, and then found a dead bird on the ground. :( I guess it's mating season because those birds out there are out of control. So after being yelled at to move out of the way of the bride (who we didn't even see until she appeared out of no where), finding dead birds, and my car being completely destroyed by bird poop, well...let's just say it made for a fun and interested session. 

Long story short, their session was hilarious, I love this couple to pieces, and I pretty much laughed the entire time I edited these photos. Enjoy!

Axel & Rose: Engaged! | Orlando Wedding Photographer

I met with this stunning couple towards the end of 2011, and I have to say that I was ecstatic when they booked us! They were so friendly, in love, and all-in-all a couple I knew we'd have a great connection with. 

I met with Axel and Rose at Kraft Azalea Gardens for their engagement session last week. It was perfect weather, and I think (and hope!) they had as great of a time as I did. Their session was so effortless. Every slight move I wanted them to make, they understood without a second thought. I have to add (which I know I've said many times in the past) that having an engagement session before your actual wedding is a great idea. You not only have the opportunity to take some fun photos together that don't involve a wedding dress (not that being in a wedding dress is a bad thing at all), but you get to know your photographer and both sides learn how to work with one another. It just makes the wedding day itself go that much smoother. In fact, I've had couples at weddings tell me "oh, I know exactly what you're going to want out of this pose!" because they were familiar with it from their e-session. 

Anyway, we cannot wait for their wedding later this year! Enjoy the sneak peek. :)

She KILLS it with that look! I love it!  

He randomly brought a purple flower to his beautiful Rose in the middle of the session. It was exactly what I needed for a ring shot!  

You just can't go wrong with Kraft Azalea Gardens and a wide angle!
