Susan & James: Engaged! | Orlando Wedding Photographer

I met with Susan and James at Axum in downtown Winter Garden for our first consultation. We hit it off right away, and I was thrilled when they decided to book us! We decided to have their engagement session in that same spot, and it was perfect! It was a bit chilly, but Susan was a champ and made sure to stick it out for that cute dress she had (I would have done the same thing, Susan!). We started the session by them getting hot cups of coffee, and then continued on by walking around the beautiful downtown area. If you haven't been out there, you really should. There are cute little restaurants, a lot of young families, and an overall vibe that makes you feel so very at home! :) 

We can't wait for your wedding next year. You two were made for each other! <3

Katie's Senior Photos | Orlando Photographer

Right before our wedding (over a year 1/2 ago), we bought our first house. Moving into a new place, you never know what to expect when it comes to your neighbors. It's pretty much hit or miss, but we hit big! We were immediately surrounded by the most welcoming, loving neighbors in every direction. Katie's family was one of them, and we are so lucky to live by them! When we first started getting to know each other, she mentioned that she wants to study Microbiology or something similar in college. Since that was my major, which I thoroughly enjoyed (honestly!), I was so excited that someone close to me was going to do the same thing. As it turns out, Katie is one of the most intelligent girls I have ever met. She has so much going for her no matter which direction she goes, and I can't wait for her to start college already! :-D 

We did Katie's senior photos in downtown Winter Garden. We had such a great time taking these, and I hope you all love them as much as I do! <3

Amy & Alan: Engaged! | Orlando Wedding Photographer

Amy and Alan are one of the most fun-loving, outgoing, and carefree couples I have ever met! I actually met Amy at Jaclyn's (owner of At Last, Wedding + Event Design) baby shower not too long ago. They've been great friends for a while, and I spent most of the shower hanging out with Amy and some of the other girls. I was so excited to be able to do Amy's engagement session, and boy did we get lucky with the weather! It was pouring ALL day. I don't think there was a 5 minute block where it was dry that whole day. The hard part was that they were coming from Gainesville, so we needed to have a game plan ASAP. As the day went on, we decided to stick with it, and if it rained, it rained! I would just cover my camera up to protect it, and we would get some really fun rain shots. By the time of their session, Amy and I were both very excited for some rain photos. Of course it would happen though that as soon as we convinced ourselves that rain shots would be great, we didn't get a single drop of rain! In the end, I'm happy with it because we were able to frolick around downtown Winter Garden, rain free. 

I had such an amazing time with you two at your session. I hope you love your photos as much as I do! <3

Parker is 6 months old! | Orlando Family Photographer

Phew! This has been one busy season for us! We are doing our absolute best to stay on top of our sneak peeks while still getting everything to our amazing clients in decent time, so in advance, here are our apologies if you've been waiting for a while! <3 

This little cutie stole my heart about a week ago at his downtown Winter Garden session. Parker is 6 months old, and boy does he have some CUTE expressions. Every so often we will get a baby who LOVES to smile...just not for the camera! This little guy was one of them, but once mom and dad started throwing him up in the air and tickling him with kisses, he was all smiles (literally for that brief second!). Go figure, mom told me afterwards that he was happy-go-lucky on the way home. Sometimes that's just how it is, no matter how many times you (as in I) jump up in the air hootin' and hollerin' while making funny noises and faces. Either way, I am pleased with how the photos came out. Enjoy your sneak peek! <3

Meagan's Winter Garden Senior Session

Talk about a fun family! These four are so ridiculously entertaining to each other and also to me! I was smiling throughout their entire session in pure enjoyment of how close they are to each other and how laid back they all are. Meagan is graduating high school in a few short months and then heading out of state to college in August. I know her momma will miss her, but now they have a reason to leave Florida in the summer! :)
