Katie & Steve: Engaged! | Orlando Wedding Photographer

Woohoo! My brother-in-law is marrying pretty much the most amazingly awesome little lady ever! Steve and Katie started dating in high school, which puts them at being together for 7.5 years! Steve is Craig's youngest brother, and he and Katie were actually with us in Israel when Craig proposed to me a couple of years ago! Even though Craig and I had already been together a few years at that point, Katie and I never really had a chance to get to know each other that well before the trip. But we did, and now I'm so excited to be her maid of honor!

Craig and I met with Steve and Katie at Disney's Boardwalk a few weeks ago for their engagement session. They are getting married early next year on the beach at Shores Resort in Daytona, so they incorporated some really cute beach props. I didn't want to post all of the beach prop photos since they are going to be used on their save-the-dates, but there is one in there! :)

Toni's Maternity Session | Orlando Portrait Photographer

I have photographed Toni & Gus a few times now, and I absolutely adore them! They got married last November (see their wedding here) and are now expecting the arrival of their first baby girl! I met with them at Disney's Boardwalk last week for their maternity session. I have to say that we got really lucky with the weather! I believe it rained every evening that week except for this particular day. In fact, not only did it not rain, but we even had a bit of a breeze coming through. She is due any week now, so the last thing she needed was a hot, sticky day while taking photos. She looks so beautiful though, and I am so excited for the two of them to start their family.

Carol & Andrew: Married! | Orlando Wedding Photographer

I met Carol and Andrew a few years ago on one of the happiest days of their lives; the day he proposed to her! Jaclyn with At Last, Wedding + Event Design contacted me about his interest in getting the proposal photographed. I remember how sweetly nervous he was before Carol arrived, and I also remember feeling like the paparazzi hiding in the bushes! After she said yes, I introduced myself to her and we had a mini-photo session right there in Winter Park.

A little while later, they contacted me and decided to book me for their wedding. I was so excited because I truly enjoyed meeting them on the day of their engagement! We discussed the details, and then waited...and waited...and waited. Finally, their wedding day was approaching! A couple of months before their wedding, I met with Carol, her mom and one of her sisters for Carol's bridal session. We met at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando and walked around the property to do her photos. She was so stunning, and that session got me even more excited about their wedding.

Carol and Andrew's ceremony took place in Palm Harbor United Methodist Church, and their reception at Safety Harbor Resort and Spa. Both venues were absolutely beautiful! Craig and I had a blast photographing their wedding and spending all day with them. They are truly an incredible couple with a lot to look forward to in life. I have to say that I wish Carol and Andrew lived in Florida still so that I could see them more often! She and I both studied the same major at UCF at the same time, and somehow never crossed paths.
